Ten head-to-head comparisons · Written by the crew that installs every brand on both sides · Last updated July 2026
Every page in this series follows the same rules. Spec claims — frame gauge, cover weight, galvanization, warranty years, prices — come only from each brand's published data, converted to common units (cover weights to g/m²) so the columns actually compare. Where a brand doesn't publish a number, we write “not published” instead of estimating. On top of the published spec, each page adds what a spec sheet can't: what our crews find when the crates open — hardware counts, documentation quality, assembly gotchas — from real installs. No scores, no star ratings, and no winner-for-everyone: every comparison ends with an honest split verdict, because every brand on our list is the right pick for somebody and the wrong pick for somebody else.
One thing we never vary: install pricing. MaxCon charges by footprint, not by brand, so we have no reason to steer you — the homepage pricing table applies to every kit on this page. Single-brand deep dives live in the brand review series.
Max Contractors is an independent installation company. We are not a dealer for, sponsored by, or affiliated with the manufacturers whose products we install — brand names are used only to identify the kits we work on. Where a commercial relationship exists, we disclose it.
MaxCon has a commercial relationship with MAX Storage Buildings; this does not affect our pricing or which brands we install.

Whichever brand you land on, install is the same flat price by footprint. Send brand, size, and town — we come back the same day with the price from the table and an install date.
