Reviews, comparisons, and guides written by an installation crew carry weight only if the method behind them holds up. This page is the method.
Three sources, in order of weight. First, what our crews see on installs: crate contents, hardware counts, frame behaviour, cover tensioning, in Canadian weather. Second, manufacturers’ own published documents: spec sheets, price lists, warranty certificates, install manuals. Third, public records and primary sources such as building codes and government data. We do not use anonymous review aggregation, and we do not repeat a manufacturer’s marketing language as if it were a finding.
No invented statistics, test panels, or survey results. No fabricated customer quotes. No star-rating schema unless it comes from real, named customer reviews. No claim of having installed a specific count of a brand’s kits unless the count is real. If we do not have the number, the page says so or the claim is not made.
Our own install prices come from the flat-rate table on the homepage and apply exactly as printed. When we quote another company’s price we date it, because catalogues change: a figure marked “verified August 2026” was checked against the manufacturer’s published pricing in that month. Confirm current pricing on the manufacturer’s site before you buy — and tell us if a number has drifted, because we correct dated figures on a rolling basis.
MaxCon has a commercial relationship with MAX Storage Buildings. It is disclosed wherever MSB is reviewed or compared, and it does not change our install pricing or which brands we install. We are not a dealer for, sponsored by, or affiliated with any other manufacturer whose products we install or review. Nobody can buy a verdict on this site.
Honest criticism of a brand we install is not a conflict — it is the point. Every review carries a “worst fit” section, including for MSB. When we get something wrong, we correct the page and note the change rather than quietly rewriting it.
