Max Contractors ("we", "us") is a fabric building installation company based in Edmonton, Alberta, operating across Canada. This policy explains what information we collect through maxcontractors.ca, why we collect it, and how we handle it, in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
Contact and quote forms. When you send us a message or request the buyer's guide, we collect the information you type in: name, email address, phone number, building brand and size, location, and any details you include. We use it to respond to your enquiry, prepare your installation quote, schedule work, and — only if you ask us to — follow up. Form submissions are processed by Netlify Forms, our website host.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization enabled to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, approximate region, device type). This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by using your browser's tracking protections.
Server logs. Our hosting provider (Netlify) keeps standard access logs for security and reliability.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not send marketing email unless you explicitly ask for it, and every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe, consistent with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). We do not run advertising or share your details with advertisers.
Quote and enquiry records are kept as long as needed to service your project and meet legal and warranty obligations, then deleted. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics' standard retention settings.
You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call or text 780-604-9399 (Mon–Sat, 7am–7pm MT) or use the contact form. If you're not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
