Bottom Line

Rasmar Industries sells one of the widest fabric shelter ranges in Canada — small carports up to commercial PVC buildings, in both PE and PVC fabric. All ship as DIY kits. We install every size on our published pricing table, same flat rate as any other brand.

Rasmar Industries — Wide Selection, DIY Kits

Rasmar Industries carries a deep catalogue of fabric structures: hoop buildings, carports, canopies, RV covers, and full-size commercial storage. The lineup spans both PE-coated entry-level fabric and heavier PVC commercial-grade fabric, with multiple frame designs across the size range.

Every Rasmar kit ships with assembly instructions and the parts to put it up yourself. For the smallest carports, two people and an afternoon is enough. For the bigger buildings — anything 30 feet wide and up — a proper crew with the right equipment makes the difference between a building that lasts a decade and one with permanent fabric stress points.

What Rasmar models do we install?

Every model. Their entry-level PE-fabric carports, mid-range PE/PVC hoop buildings, and commercial PVC structures are all installable by our crew. The pricing on our homepage is by building footprint (width × length), so the brand or material choice does not change what you pay us.

If you bought a Rasmar kit at auction, secondhand, or through a dealer and you do not have full assembly instructions, send us photos of the crate and any model labels. We have opened enough mystery kits to identify what we are working with once parts are laid out.

How long does a Rasmar build take?

Depends on size — and these are estimates only, since ground conditions, weather, and crew size all shift the schedule. A 30×40 single-truss carport typically runs 2–3 days with our crew. A 50×100 dual-truss commercial building runs about 5 days. Larger builds (50×150 to 60×120) run around 7 days, and 70-wide builds run about 9 days with a 5-person crew. We confirm the working schedule before we arrive so you're not blocking the yard for a week of guessing.

What if my Rasmar kit is missing parts or hardware?

It happens — with every brand, not just Rasmar. We do a full parts inventory at the start of every install. If something is missing, we either source it locally same-day or rig a temporary fix until Rasmar can ship the replacement. Either way, your build does not stall waiting for a phone call.

What's included in our installation?

Full crew, manlifts and equipment, frame assembly with proper torquing, fabric tensioning to spec, all doors hung (winch and man doors), and anchoring to your prepared foundation. We finish with a walk-through and maintenance briefing before we leave the site.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Max Contractors install Rasmar buildings?

Yes. We install every Rasmar model and size — PE and PVC fabric, hoop and dual-truss frames, carports through commercial buildings. Our pricing is by size, not by brand, so you pay the same flat rate listed on the homepage regardless of which Rasmar kit you bought.

How much does professional installation cost for a Rasmar building?

Installation pricing is based on your building size, not the brand. The full pricing table is on our homepage — every size from 20×40 up to 70×200 with no hidden fees. The published price covers crew, frame assembly, fabric tensioning, doors, and anchoring. Equipment rental, travel beyond same-day Alberta drives, and crew lodging on multi-day builds are billed through at cost — no markup.

What should I have ready before my Rasmar installation?

A level prepared site with proper drainage (compacted gravel pad is the most common foundation), all kit components unpacked and inventoried, and clear access for the crew and lift equipment. We do a parts check with you at the start so any missing components get flagged before we are mid-assembly.

Can you install a Rasmar shelter in winter?

Yes. We install year-rou
