Professional crew for every FarmTek kit — ClearSpan Truss-Arch storage, hoop buildings, high tunnels, greenhouses. Flat pricing by building size.
FarmTek is a large US ag retailer — their ClearSpan fabric buildings, hoop buildings, and high tunnels ship across Canada with decent instructions and better hardware tolerances than the budget imports. We install every FarmTek product line at the flat-rate price on our homepage, whether it's a season-extension high tunnel or a 70-ft commercial storage building.
FarmTek (and its sister brand ClearSpan) is one of the largest agricultural-structure retailers in North America. Their catalogue covers ClearSpan Truss-Arch fabric buildings, Econoline hoop buildings, Majestic greenhouses, high tunnels, livestock shelters, and a long list of farm equipment beyond the structures. They ship direct to farmers, ranchers, and commercial operators.
FarmTek kits arrive with assembly instructions and, for the smaller sizes, a DIY weekend is realistic. For the ClearSpan commercial sizes — anything 40 ft wide and up — professional installation is the difference between a building that's square, tight, and engineered to the posted snow load, and one that's "close enough" until the first big dump.
All of them. The ones that show up most on our schedule:
Better instructions and tighter hardware tolerances. ClearSpan's Truss-Arch arches ship in fewer, larger sections than the Chinese imports — fewer splice points to align, fewer pieces of hardware to fumble at 20 feet in the air. The frame is heavier steel per foot of span. None of that changes what you pay us (footprint, not brand), but it does mean the build typically runs cleaner and finishes closer to spec.
FarmTek's engineering spec varies by size and wind zone. Smaller Econoline and ClearSpan kits anchor fine on compacted soil with auger/helical anchors. The larger commercial ClearSpan sizes — and anything going through municipal permit — typically require concrete piers or a continuous footing. We check your local snow load (per NBCC) and wind zone against the manufacturer spec before the crew leaves the yard, so foundation isn't a surprise on install day.
Depends heavily on model. A 20x20 high tunnel: one day. A 30x60 Econoline hoop: one to two days. A 50x100 ClearSpan commercial: two to three days. A multi-bay Majestic greenhouse run: varies, we quote the schedule after seeing your layout. We confirm the date the day before we roll so your yard is not blocked all week.
Installation covers full crew, frame assembly, fabric tensioning, doors, and anchoring to your prepared foundation. Equipment (manlifts), travel beyond same-day Alberta drives, and crew lodging on multi-day builds are billed through at cost — no markup.
Same pricing applies regardless of brand. Find your size, that's your price.
Written by the MAX Contractors crew. We have installed every major fabric-building brand sold in Canada — and a few that show up at auctions without a manufacturer label. Bought a FarmTek kit and need a crew? Message us and we will get back same day.

Yes. We install every FarmTek product line — ClearSpan Truss-Arch fabric buildings, Econoline hoop buildings, Majestic greenhouses, and high tunnels. FarmTek is a large US ag retailer and a lot of their kits end up in Canada. Same flat pricing as any other brand.
Pricing is by footprint, not by brand. The full table runs from 20×40 up to 70×200 on our homepage, no hidden fees. The posted price covers crew, frame assembly, fabric tensioning, doors, and anchoring to your prepared foundation. Equipment, travel beyond same-day Alberta drives, and crew lodging on multi-day builds are billed through at cost — no markup.
Yes. High tunnels and greenhouses are a different job than a storage shelter — ventilation, the poly film or twin-wall polycarbonate covers, and the end-wall framing all change what the crew is doing. Pricing lines up with the footprint on the main table. If you have a multi-bay greenhouse run, message us with the layout and we will confirm the schedule before we load.
FarmTek's ClearSpan Truss-Arch frames ship with better instructions and tighter hardware tolerances than the no-name imports. The arches come in fewer, larger pieces, so there are fewer splice points to align. That saves crew hours on the build. It does not change the price you pay us — that is set by footprint — but it does mean fewer surprises during assembly.
A level site, foundation ready per the manufacturer spec (concrete piers, screw anchors, or continuous footing depending on model and local code), every crate unpacked and inventoried, and clear access for the crew and manlift. We do a parts check with you at the start so if anything is missing we flag it before the arches go up.
Depends on the model and your use. Screw/auger anchors on compacted soil work fine for smaller ClearSpan and Econoline buildings in most wind zones. Concrete piers or a continuous footing are required for the larger ClearSpan commercial models and for most permitted builds. We check the manufacturer spec against your local snow and wind load before the crew leaves the yard.
