Professional crew for all Sheltirx product lines — SkyShield container canopies, Stormax storage tents, Formex bespoke buildings. Flat pricing by size.
Sheltirx manufactures three distinct product lines — SkyShield container canopies that mount onto shipping containers, Stormax storage tents, and Formex bespoke fabric buildings. All three carry a 20-year structural warranty (one of the longest in the industry) and ship as kits requiring on-site assembly. We install all three lines on our flat-rate pricing table.
Sheltirx is a fabric-structure manufacturer with three distinct product lines, each aimed at a different application. The SkyShield line is a container canopy designed to mount on top of standard shipping containers — useful when you already have containers as a foundation and need covered space between or above them. The Stormax line is conventional fabric storage tents for industrial, commercial, and agricultural use. The Formex line is bespoke fabric buildings built to custom dimensions for unusual applications.
All three lines come with a 20-year structural warranty, which is one of the longest in the fabric-building industry. All three ship as kits requiring proper on-site assembly to perform to that warranty.
SkyShield mounts onto shipping containers using twist-lock corner castings — the same hardware that locks containers together when stacked. The install requires precise alignment between the containers and the canopy frame, and the containers themselves need to be level and properly positioned before the canopy goes up. We handle the full sequence: container alignment if needed, twist-lock mounting, frame assembly, and fabric tensioning.
Standard fabric building install: site preparation check, frame assembly with proper torquing, fabric tensioning, door installation (winch and man doors as included), and anchoring. Stormax frames are well-engineered but tall — anything 25 feet or higher at the peak needs proper lift equipment, not a step ladder.
Bespoke buildings are by definition non-standard, so the install plan depends on what was engineered. Send us the Formex order documentation and engineering drawings before we book the date — we want to confirm crew size, lift equipment, and timeline match what your specific structure requires.
Full crew, lift equipment matched to the building height, frame assembly with proper torquing, fabric tensioning to spec, all included door installation, and anchoring (or twist-lock mounting for SkyShield). Walk-through at the end covers the maintenance schedule — that 20-year warranty assumes regular tension checks and inspections.
Same pricing applies regardless of brand. Find your size, that's your price.

Yes. We install all three Sheltirx product lines — SkyShield container canopies, Stormax storage tents, and Formex bespoke buildings. Same flat pricing as any brand on our published table, with the install method matched to the product line you purchased.
Installation pricing is based on building size, not the product line. The full pricing table is on our homepage — every size from 20×40 up to 70×200. The published price covers crew, frame assembly, fabric tensioning, doors, and anchoring (or twist-lock mounting for SkyShield). Equipment rental, travel beyond same-day Alberta drives, and crew lodging on multi-day builds are billed through at cost — no markup.
Yes. SkyShield mounts onto containers using twist-lock corner castings. The containers must be level, properly positioned, and structurally sound before we install the canopy on top. If you need help getting containers placed, that is a separate trade — we can recommend operators in your area.
