Who We Are

Max Contractors exists because of a gap in the market. Hundreds of companies sell fabric building kits. Almost none of them install what they sell. Buyers receive a crate of steel tubes, fabric panels, and hardware bags and a set of instructions that assumes they own a manlift and a week of free time.

We are the crew that shows up after the crate arrives. Brand-agnostic, size-agnostic, anywhere the road goes. Our crews are based in Alberta and have assembled fabric buildings from every major kit manufacturer in the country.

Why Transparent Pricing

The building sizes are standard. The work is predictable. A 40x60 fabric building requires the same core sequence whether it ships from TMG, Uncle Wiener, or Suihe. A dual-truss 50x100 has the same engineering across all manufacturers. We've assembled enough of them to quote the work with certainty.

Waiting three days for a quote that could have been on the page is a waste of everyone's time. The price is here. Not a range, not an estimate. The actual number. Take it or leave it—no games, no callbacks.

What We Know

Our crews have opened crates from TMG Industrial, Uncle Wiener, Suihe, Gold Mountain, ShelterLogic, Hills Industrial, and dozens of others. Single truss, dual truss, container shelters, peak ceiling, round arch—we've tensioned the fabric on all of them.

Kit manufacturers are good at engineering. They're less consistent at packing lists. Instructions sometimes contain errors. Parts occasionally arrive bent or missing. Hardware doesn't always match the documentation. When this happens, the crew adapts and the building goes up anyway. You won't be stuck on hold with an overseas manufacturer trying to sort it out yourself.

Where We Work

Alberta is home base. Most Alberta jobs are same-day drives from Edmonton. For jobs across Saskatchewan, Manitoba, BC, or farther—we travel. Travel costs are quoted upfront, before the crew leaves the yard. You'll know the total cost before we commit. No surprise invoices for mobilization.

How We Got Here

Max Contractors started because Peter had installed dozens of fabric buildings for customers who'd bought kits from every brand imaginable — and heard the same story every time: "I can't find someone who'll just put it up for me." Brand-specific installers existed, but they charged premium rates and only worked their own brand. Contractors would take the job but then get stuck on kit details they hadn't seen before.

The gap was clear: Canadian fabric-building buyers needed a crew that worked on any brand, at transparent pricing, with an Alberta operational base that could actually show up. We started with the Edmonton corridor in 2023, expanded into the rest of Alberta in 2024, and added multi-province service in 2025.

Our Operating Principles

Publish Our Prices

Nobody else in Canada publishes installation prices online. We do. The homepage table is what you pay — not an estimate, not a starting point, not a quote we'll negotiate. We can do this because building sizes are standardized and the work is predictable. We've done enough of them to know.

Any Brand, Any Kit

Uncle Wiener's, TMG Industrial, Suihe, ShelterLogic, Gold Mountain, Diamond, Cover-Tech, VersaTube, auction purchases — if it shipped as a kit, we install it. The frame engineering across manufacturers is similar enough that the labour is predictable by size, not brand.

Honest Logistics

Our crews are based in Edmonton. Every build within a 1-day drive is a same-day or next-morning start with zero travel premium. Multi-day jobs (Saskatchewan, BC Interior, Manitoba) have itemized travel costs — days, fuel, accommodation — all at cost, no markup. If we're not the right installer for your location, we tell you.

Whatever Shows Up

Missing hardware is the norm, not the exception, with many budget brands. Bent tubing, mis-labeled parts, translated instructions that skip a step — all routine. Our crews have opened enough crates to improvise. Your build doesn't stop because the manufacturer shorted you three bolts.
